Explore Yamba

With its beautiful natural landscapes, river islands, white sandy beaches and clean water, there is no doubt that Yamba is one of the most attractive towns in Australia. So why not come and explore the beauty of nature? With many amazing sightseeing locations and unforgettable beauties, Yamba comes in the list of top 10 holiday destinations.

Beaches

With the tidal ‘ocean pool’ built into the rocks at its southern end and the iconic Pacific Hotel overlooking a magnificent view, Yamba’s Main Beach is quaint, and so Australian, you’ll love it.

And if the ocean is a little too intimidating, the swimming pool is great for everyone, cleaned out like clockwork by the changing tides.

Just around the corner is either Turner’s, Convent or Pippi Beach.

Things to Do

Surfing

Just south of Yamba is Angourie, a National Surfing Reserve. Angourie Point is one of the best right-hand point breaks in Australia.

Fishing

Fishing fans can catch plenty of fish either at the beach, estuary or off the rocks. You can hire boats and special fishing kayaks, and drop into one of the numerous bait and tackle shops for tips on where the fish are biting. Deep sea fishing is legendary here too.

Eat & Drink

The many restaurants and cafes are within walking distance of The Boathouse.
